Broderick One at Loudoun Gateway

Beginning in 2019, Commercial Express HVAC started a multi-year project with the LGV Group, owner/operator of the Broderick One office building at Loudoun Gateway.  Leadership at the LGV Group wanted to provide state-of-the-art mechanical systems that could be customized and integrated into the architecture of the future tenant spaces, while providing top tier energy efficiency and reliability.

Commercial Express HVAC engaged this project in a design-build capacity, handling the mechanical engineering design in-house, as well as construction.  The mechanical design included 104 tons of Mitsubishi VRF heat pump systems with heat recovery branch boxes to provide simultaneous heating and cooling throughout the building, as needed.  A dedicated outside air system with integral energy recovery wheel was installed to handle the conditioning of fresh air delivery to the tenant spaces.

This project consisted of approximately 58,000 square feet of office space spread among five levels.

Burke & Herbert Bank

Commercial Express HVAC partnered with design-build firm, Speedwell Construction, to complete a 44,000 square foot tenant fit-out of the 6th, 7th & 8th floor for Burke & Herbert Bank.  Commercial Express HVAC handled the mechanical and plumbing engineering design and installation, while coordinating with the A/E team for additional disciplines.  The project consisted of new VAV systems throughout, two computer room AC units, and integration into the building automation system.
